Caroline is currently researching woven wool materials that support health and wellbeing in the interior environment through her MA Textile Practice at the University of Huddersfield.  

Her love of textiles and design, originally led her to study a BSc (Hons) in Textile design and  Management at UMIST (Manchester University).  Following her graduation, Caroline set up a successful design department for Kangol, receiving an apprentice Milliner design award from Philip Treacy and The Worshipful Company of feltmakers.


Caroline has amassed over fifteen years’ experience working in product innovation and buying management roles for design led brands including Paul Smith, Habitat, Conran and Daylesford Organic and most recently has consulted for the Bettys and Taylors Group.   Caroline’s career to date has taken her around the world working with a network of skilled manufacturers and craftspeople.
